Join us from 26 June to 19 July 2024 for the famous open-air festival in the Poupet valley.
A not-to-be-missed festival in Vendée in July
Originally a village party, Poupet festival is now a must-see summer festival. But despite its growing success, the festival has managed to evolve while retaining its authentic, friendly charm.
Poupet festival is a rural festival held every year in July. The village of Saint-Malô-du-Bois, not far from Puy du Fou, has been hosting the festival since 1987. Every evening, 3,000 people gather to enjoy concerts by some of the biggest names on the French and international music scene. Past performers include Lenny Kravitz, Johnny Hallyday, the Cranberries, Manu Chao, Jean-Louis Aubert, Ben Harper, Sting, Mika, -M-, David Guetta, Elton John and many more. The diversity of the artists and musical genres on offer makes this an eclectic event packed with new discoveries.
The festival is spread over a dozen evenings and takes place in a picturesque, bucolic valley. Thanks to the river and the Poupet mill, the exceptional setting contributes greatly to the unique and magical atmosphere that reigns during the event.
Two permanent employees, assisted by a 15-strong organising committee, orchestrate the preparations for the festival every year. They can also count on the invaluable help of 450 volunteers throughout the festival.
