In the Le Vernon residence in Chamrousse – Le Recoin 1650, our west-facing flat overlooking the valley is on the ground floor and sleeps 6.

Chamrousse is located at the tip of the Belledonne massif, 16 km from Uriage-Les-Bains (spa resort) and 30 km from Grenoble (Isère). The resort is built in the middle of a forest, offering exceptional views over Grenoble and its valley. The highest point is the Chamrousse cross at 2250 m altitude.

The 2-room flat comprises :

main room with kitchenette, dining area and lounge with sofa bed (sleeps 2)
bedroom with 4 bunk beds.

At your disposal for your rental of our 2-room flat in Chamrousse

You’ll find plenty of equipment in the kitchenette to ensure the comfort of your stay.
→ dishwasher, microwave oven, oven with grill, fridge, 4-burner ceramic hob, coffee maker, kettle and toaster.
For your family meals, raclette, fondue and crep’party appliances will delight young and old alike.
We also have a flat-screen TV, radio-CD and board games for you to enjoy.

What’s more, for your convenience throughout your stay, you can park your car in the underground car park and leave your skis each evening in our private ski locker.

The residence also has a launderette, a sports shop (sale and hire of equipment) and a shop selling local crafts and designers for your holiday souvenirs.

The Gaboureaux chairlift provides easy access to the ski slopes, just 200 metres from the building. If you wish, a free shuttle bus serving the whole resort stops in front of the residence several times a day (timetables available at the entrance to the building and at the tourist office).

Last but not least, the resort offers several Wifi points to keep you connected during your stay.

Activities for your summer holidays in Chamrousse

In summer, the resort offers a wide range of activities.

There’s a playground, a petanque area, a zip line from the Croix de Chamrousse (thrills guaranteed!), a tree climbing course and archery.
For the more sporty, the resort has a wealth of hiking trails and several tennis courts.
For the more adventurous, Chamrousse also offers via ferrata, climbing, paragliding, tobogganing, mountain biking, cross-country skiing… And more original activities such as bag jumping, arapaho, monster bike and deval’ kart…
You can also fish in the mountain lakes, go horse-riding at the equestrian centre, relax in the swimming pool and wellness area, go to the cinema or the disco…

NB: the petanque pitch and tree climbing are located juste opposite the Vernon residence!

Events not to be missed this summer in Chamrousse :

The wood festival, held on the 2nd weekend in August
The hill-climb race, which takes place on the last weekend in August

Activities for your winter holidays in Chamrousse

You can take advantage of the downhill skiing (90km of runs) and Nordic skiing (40.8km) areas throughout your winter holiday.

For the more adventurous, the resort is also open on certain days for night skiing. This is your chance to watch the sunset with your skis on!

The resort also offers a wide range of activities, including snowshoeing, scootering, snow quad biking and dog-sledding. You can also try your hand at ice driving, ice diving and ice skating. There’s also a swimming pool and wellness area, a cinema and a nightclub. Something for everyone!

NB: Dog sledding and snowshoeing can be arranged directly in front of the residence!
