Welcome to le Petit Monty, in Vendée. Set in the heart of the Vendéen countryside, south of Nantes and bordered by the Atlantic coastline and the river Sèvre. Our charming, relined guestrooms are located in a splendid farmhouse dating from the 16th century superbly restored on one hectare of land.

Where is Le Petit Monty in relation to the Puy du Fou?
Our accommodation (large lodgings and guest rooms) is just 5 minutes drive from the Puy du Fou, in the commune of Saint Malô du Bois, in the Vendée bocage.
So you can make the most of your day at the Puy du Fou and then relax in the peace and quiet of our accommodation.
How far is the Poupet Festival from our group gîtes?
The Poupet festival takes place every year in the commune of Saint Malô du Bois, which also includes the hamlet of Le Petit Monty. So you’ll be just a few minutes away from your favourite concert when you stay at our guest house!
Where are the nearest train station and airport?
By train, you can arrive at Angers TGV station, located 1 hour from our accommodation and 2h30 from Paris. From there, you can take the shuttle bus to Puy du Fou. After your day at Puy du Fou, you can take a taxi to the Petit Monty.
By plane, the Petit Monty is about 1 hour from Nantes Atlantique airport, which serves many French and European cities.

Can I charge my electric vehicle?
Yes, Le Petit Monty has a reinforced socket for electric and hybrid vehicles, the GREEN’UP socket.

Do your homes in Vendée have a swimming pool?
Yes, the Petit Monty guest house does have a swimming pool. It is accessible exclusively to the occupants of our guest rooms and lodgings.
The pool is heated from early June to early September.
We invite you to consult the rules governing the use of the swimming pool.
Can I organise a party in the lodgings?
Our lodgings are located in the middle of a hamlet and therefore have neighbours, including the occupants of our guest rooms. As a result, parties are forbidden to ensure everyone’s peace and quiet.
However, family reunions or company seminars are permitted. Please contact us for further information.
When can I collect the keys to the accommodation?
If you are at the Puy du Fou in the morning, you can collect the keys before you enter the park (from 8.30am). Otherwise, arrivals are between 5.30pm and 7pm.
NB: I do not provide reception services after the evening shows at Puy du Fou (Cinescénie & Noces de Feu).
Do I need to bring my own sheets and towels?
For bed and breakfast accommodation, beds are made and towels are provided.
For the lodgings, sheets and towels are optional:
- Sheets: €10 per bed
- Towels: €5 per set for one person
Is there a cot in the lodgings and guest rooms?
We can lend you an extra cot on request before you book, so that your baby can be accommodated in the best possible conditions.
What are the breakfast times at Le Petit Monty?
Breakfast is served from 8.30am to 10am.
