Getting to Le Petit Monty by bike — Access maps
Our B&B is easy to reach from the cycling routes of La Vélidéale and Vendée Vélo. The Pays de Mortagne community has created two access maps to help guide you all the way to us.
Route 1 — From Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre (La Vélidéale / Vendée Vélo)
- Distance: 4,800 m
- Time: around 20 minutes
- Elevation gain: +21 m
Route 2 — From the Boucle des Alouettes loop
- Distance: 4,100 m
- Time: around 18 minutes
- Elevation gain: +25 m
Nearby cycle routes
Le Petit Monty is close to several great cycling routes:
- La Vélidéale — A cycle route through the Vendée countryside, linking Les Herbiers to Mortagne-sur-Sèvre
- Vendée Vélo — Vendée’s departmental cycle path network
- Boucle des Alouettes — A local loop starting from Mont des Alouettes, perfect for a day ride
- A few kilometres away, you can also connect with major routes such as La Vélodyssée
- You can also try an original route by walking around the Grand Parc du Puy Du Fou (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes).
And during your stay, combine business with pleasure by cycling to the bakery in St Malo Du Bois to buy bread: you’ll be there in 10 minutes!

We have four different models of electric bikes: one cargo bike, one Dutch bike, one hybrid bike, and one compact bike, all equipped with a motor with a range of 50 miles and assistance up to 15 mph. Enough to equip the whole family to explore the roads of the Vendée in complete freedom!
