General terms and conditions of sale for stays at Le Petit Monty

1 Length of stay

The customer wishing to occupy the premises for a fixed period may under no circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises.

2 Booking formalities

Once we have received your reservation, we will send you written confirmation by e-mail – or, if you do not have an e-mail address, by post – and we will ask you to pay a deposit of 30% per night and per room within a maximum of two weeks. Once this deposit has been received, the reservation becomes firm. By paying the deposit, you confirm your full agreement with the general conditions specified below.

3 Cancellation of the stay by the customer

Any modification is only possible with the agreement of “Le Petit Monty” and the deposit will be retained.

We would like to inform you that in the event of cancellation of the booking before the start of the holiday, the customer will be required to pay an indemnity fixed as follows, as a penalty clause:

In the event of cancellation, the entire deposit will be retained by “Le Petit Monty”, unless the holiday is postponed to a later date within 18 months of the date of the planned holiday.
In the event of early departure during the stay, full payment will be required for the service booked.

4 Cancellation insurance

Please note that cancellation insurance is not included in our prices.

5 Cancellation of the stay by the owner

If, before the start of the holiday, the owner has to cancel the booking, he must immediately inform the customer by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. The customer will then be immediately and fully reimbursed for any sums already paid.

6 Arrival time

The customer must arrive on the day specified at the time of booking, no earlier than 5.00 pm (time of availability of rooms and handover of keys) and no later than 7.30 pm or to be agreed together for an arrival before your entry to Puy du Fou Grand Parc. Customers must give advance notice by telephone if they are forced to arrive after this time. As far as possible, please do not arrive after 9pm.

7 Check-out time

Rooms must be vacated by 10 a.m. at the latest.

8 Payment of accommodation balance

The balance of the stay must be paid on the morning of departure, at the customer’s initiative.

9 Change of rooms

Without the customer being able to claim any compensation, the owner reserves the right to change the room initially booked by the customer for a room of the same or greater capacity. In this case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.

10 Pets

Pets are not permitted.

11 Lifestyle and use of the premises

To ensure the tranquillity of the premises and the comfort of guests at Le Petit Monty, a certain “art de vivre” is required of everyone. In particular, guests are asked not to smoke in their rooms or communal areas. More generally, guests undertake to respect good manners.

Guests undertake to leave their rooms in perfect condition at the end of their stay and to systematically declare – and pay for – any damage for which they are responsible.

Guests’ attention is drawn to the fact that minors staying on the property are under the sole and entire responsibility of their parents or guardians.

Le Petit Monty accepts no responsibility for loss, theft and/or damage or injury to property and/or persons on the property, however caused.

12 Modification of the conditions of sale

These terms and conditions of sale may be amended at any time without prior notice. Acceptance of and compliance with these terms and conditions of sale are deemed to have been accepted as soon as the deposit has been paid.

13 Data Protection Act

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access and correct your personal data. We undertake under no circumstances to pass on the information you have given us to other companies or organisations.
